DOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modems
Cox Essential or Cox Starter Internet Service users (typically less than $50 a month), buy any of these DOCSIS 2.0 modems. If you think you'll be upgrading to Cox's faster services in the future, buy a DOCSIS 3.0 modem above. We highly recommend buying a DOCSIS 3.0 modem in order to future-proof yourself as DOCSIS 2.0 modems are slowly phased out. New Cox customers need to buy a DOCSIS 3.0 modem, only existing customers can buy a DOCSIS 2.0 modem.
All of these modems are high quality and have pretty much the same features, except of course those with routers built in. So don't worry too much about deciding which one to buy. Price should be the most important factor.
