Wireless Router (WiFi) Buying Guide
We've made it easy to find a wireless router that fits your needs. You can filter routers by the features that are important to you and then sort these selected routers by price or ratings.
Dual Band: Has a 5 GHz band in addition to the 2.4 GHz standard band. 5 GHz allows for faster transfer speeds and operates in a frequency range where there tends to be less interference, improving your speeds. Your devices need to be Dual Band compatible to use this feature.
Gaming Traffic Priority: Gives higher priority to gaming traffic, reducing lag times in online games.
Video Streaming Traffic Priority: Gives higher priority to streaming video traffic, reducing buffering while watching online video.
Gigabit Ports: These are 10 times faster than standard ethernet ports. They are used to transfer files between computers or computers and attached hard drives at the highest possible rates.
Guest Accounts: These are used when you want to let people use your internet access, but do not want give out your password or let them onto your network.
USB Port: This is used to attach network printers or drives.

Step 1: Select the features you want in the router. If it doesn't matter either way if the router has that feature, select "Show all".
