Comcast for Business DOCSIS 3.1 and 3.0 Cable Modems
Below are all the modems that Comcast has approved for their business customers to purchase and use on their network, as of August 2023. Comcast lists them on their website here: Comcast for Business Approved Cable Modem List. Prices below are updated every hour. There are over 70 different modems on that list, and we’ve gone through all of them to find the ones that can be bought at Amazon,Best Buy, or Walmart.
If you’re paying $14 a month to rent a modem from Comcast, that’s $168 a year, or $840 over 5 years. You can buy a new one that will pay for itself in less than six months. It’s easy to install. Comcast for Business Phone / Voice Customers and those that have Static IP, Connection Pro, Smart Office, WiFi Pro or Security Edge have to rent a cable modem from Comcast.
