Cable Modem Buying Tips and FAQ's
All Suddenlink Internet Service users: Effective September 1, 2015 all customers must buy a modem with at least 8 channels downstream, these are listed below. Customers with 101-500 Mbps service, should buy one with 16 channels downstream. Those with greater than 500 Mbps service, should buy one with 32 channels.
All of these modems are high quality and have pretty much the same features, except for number of downstream channels and those with routers built in. So don't worry too much about deciding which one to buy.
Price should be a main factor in your buying decision.
