Modem list updated November 2018. Prices updated every hour.

Cable Modem Buying Tips and FAQ's

All Suddenlink Internet Service users: Effective September 1, 2015 all customers must buy a modem with at least 8 channels downstream, these are listed below. Customers with 101-500 Mbps service, should buy one with 16 channels downstream. Those with greater than 500 Mbps service, should buy one with 32 channels.

All of these modems are high quality and have pretty much the same features, except for number of downstream channels and those with routers built in. So don't worry too much about deciding which one to buy. Price should be a main factor in your buying decision.

ARRIS / Motorola SB6190 SURFBoard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. I got mine at Walmart a week ago. Works great. Make sure you have a comparable router as well.
Michael Gonzalez says...
Do not add any 3.1 docsis modems to Suddenlink’s compatible list as THEY DO NOT CURRENTLY SUPPORT DOCSIS 3.1. Their website contains incorrect info and this has already been verified by Suddenlink tech support and their official twitter account
Eric (Enid) says...
Are these the ONLY compatible modems for Suddenlink? Or does the modem just have to meet certain specifications?
Clay Autery (Haughton La) says...
PLEASE add the SB8200 DOCSIS 3.1 with fallback to 3.0.
